The Royal Brunei Golf and Country Club is considered amongst the top courses in Asia, and possibly the most unique golfing venue in the world. It was created for The Sultan of Brunei and his international guest. 

The course has been constructed to the most exacting standards; playing here is to partake in an unforgettable golf experience. It is definitely the most challenging golf experience in Brunei and with it's reputation as the "Augusta of Asia", possibly the region. 

Overseas golfers can now enjoy this course like the list of World Class players - Greg Norman, Colin Montgomerie, Bernard Gallacher, Tony Jacklin, Nick Price and Nick Faldo - who's signatures have been left on the locker room doors.  

RBGCC is certainly the most dramatic and demanding course in Brunei. It is consistently maintained to the high standards demanded by the USA PGA, and His Majesty. The specially designed drainage system guarantees year round play, and the greens are fast.

Two luxuriously appointed air-conditioned half-way houses on the course provide a welcome venue for refreshments and relaxation with friends or business partners. They can be rented for private functions and corporate events.  Catering is available. 

Playing at RBGCC is more than a game of golf. The surroundings create a unique experience with cool sea breezes, magnificent changes of light as the day evolves, and an abundance of wildlife.  

It's common to spot a troupe of monkeys taking a leisurely sojourn across the fairway, or to see a majestic Brahminy kite soar searching for prey, or to hear the distinct call of Borneo's Hornbill. You may also hear the roar of a tiger or the call of an elephant  from the nearby private zoo.  

The clubhouse overlooks a magnificent vista of rolling greens. Dense lush jungle in the background, fairways and greens, with pink and white manicured gardens of bougainvilleas in the foreground. 

The visual focal point is the fountain cradling the club's logo and burnished gold initials, from which sparkling water cascades into a lake which shimmers at dusk. As night falls backlights create a magical atmosphere.

The Presidents Cup (the club cup) takes pride of place amongst a collection of trophies and The Sultan's personal golfing memorabilia, including a collection of antique clubs.

The luxury locker room located on the lower level features  lockers personally autographed by famous players, including Greg Norman and Nick Faldo.
