Day 1:
AM/PM: Transfer from the airport to your chosen hotel.
PM: Afternoon
free to relax, take the hotel shuttle to shops, explore on foot.
Late
afternoon take the Jerudong Park Tour around this amazing Royal Family
recreation area. Stop for dinner at either the Jerudong Park Polo Club,
or the up market food stalls (dinner at own expense).
Optional visit and
rides at Jerudong Park Playground (closed Monday and Tuesday). Return to
hotel.
Day 2:
AM: Half day Cultural Heritage Tour, with water village. Gain
an
insight into the country, it's recent history, the Royal Family, and the
cultural heritage. Visit the Brunei Museum,
The Royal Regalia Museum, Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque and the Water
Village (morning tea). Drive to the previous and
current Sultan's palaces for a photo stop. Lunch at the Royal
Brunei Yacht Club (BYO), beside the Brunei River.
PM: Take the local water taxi to Temburong to start a one night
immersion in Brunei's uniquely preserved rainforest. Short visit around
the town and stop at the local market. See agricultural areas (learn about the traditional
practices and local produce), and then arrive at our Guest-house for
afternoon tea before joining our specially equipped aluminium boat at
1700 for an evening river safari. Look for Proboscis Monkeys, long
tailed Macaques and other wildlife along the river banks. After sunset,
see the fireflies and look for the red eyes of crocodiles enjoying
the last of the warm surface water. Return to our Guest-house for
dinner. Accommodation in twin, triple or family rooms with attached
bathroom. Or bunkroom style with adjacent bathroom. All rooms are
air-conditioned.
Day 3:
AM: Choose an early or later departure upstream in our longboats to the Ulu Temburong
National Park. Early departures catch the morning mist on the river and
more opportunity to see bird-life. At the National Park, cross the suspension bridge and walk to the Canopy Walkway;
climb the towers to be
above the trees. Linger to look and listen for monkeys, birds and other
wildlife. River levels permitting, travel further upstream by longboat to walk along a jungle
creek to visit a hidden waterfall; a long or short walk is available.
Return downstream to the National Park entrance for a lunch of local
specialties prepared by our cook.
PM: Swim in the river or walk around the elevated walkways.
About 1400, , return downstream in
the longboat to Batang Duri, and vehicle transfer back to our
Guest-house. Stop at a local longhouse on route. Afternoon tea and a
chance to clean up or change clothes at our then transfer to Bangar. Water taxi ride
back to BSB and transfer to your hotel. Evening free
Day
4:
AM/PM:
Relax at your hotel, take the hotel shuttle bus to shops, or book an
optional round of golf at Royal Brunei Golf and Country Club, or seria
oilfields tour, Brunei River Tour or
Island Escape.
Transfer to the airport to connect with your outgoing flight.

Brunei airport has showers available in the departure lounge
for Bn$10 per person with soap, shampoo, towel etc. It's
therefore possible to make the most of the day in Brunei
