Intrepid Tours recently added
new longboats to its
Temburong River fleet. .
The boats were all hand crafted by our
local boatmen from local timbers using
traditional methods and specially treated and sealed to extend their
operational life.
Hand rails along the inside, and seats, make the
12 km journey to the National Park more comfortable.
Life-jackets (PFD-1) are available in a range of
sizes to suit four years olds and up.
Our local boat drivers know the river
intimately. For some drivers The Temburong River has been their traditional access to
isolated crop plantations, the jungle's natural fruits, and family fishing
spots, for 50 years.
Our
Managing Director's experience with wilderness based travel
has set the standard on safety equipment, staff training and
operational standards in Temburong. We provide safety equipment that exceeds the
